Life Lessons

Being able to experience a whole new culture in South, Korea is great and all, but one of the hardest things about being half way around the world, is not being able to physcially be there for family and friends during their hardest times.  I had an email last week from one of my best friends back home saying her grandma had past away last Friday from lung cancer.

Given only 3-6 months to live, she handled it very well.  I was told that she's the most positive person you'll ever meet.  A woman who is always upbeat, happy, positive, enjoying every minute of life and never wasting time worrying about anything.  Although I've only met her once or twice, I'll always remember her.  Especially her life lessons that I'm hoping will touch all of you as well.  Most of us live a fast paced life full of stress, worry and anger.  Life doesn't need to be so hectic, just take a breather and think about all the good things you have that other unfortunate people may not have.

Please take the time to read Muriel Stenouse's Life Lessons, think about them and share them with your loved ones. It may make a difference in someone's life.
